I confess this is one of my favorite days of the year … to have the Dow Gardens conservatory and its new butterfly inhabitants all to myself as a volunteer for a brief span before the annual Butterflies in Bloom opens to the public. Here, a zebra longwing hangs out on an amaryllis.
