Finally arrived! I was promised this book months ago but apparently it was misdelivered and by the time I inquired, the author had long gone back to Paris. Did I want an unsigned copy? No, I was willing to wait for the signed copy I had been promised; I love signed books.

In case you’re scratching your head saying, “Beth? Fashion? Does Dior make flannel?” you would be correct that I find it much more interesting as an art form than as anything to wear. I entered a contest for a free signed copy of this book thinking my daughter would like to see it, and ended up winning the grand prize so I got an online shopping spree and deluxe trip to Miami to boot. Come January I will be escaping the local misery and sipping a cocktail on my terrace at the Mandarin Oriental, and it came about because I love books and taught my children to appreciate them too.
