Dow Gardens tonight. As one of the five poets reading said, “It gives me hope for the world when we have to add more chairs at a poetry reading.” I counted 56 people attending, listened to some meh poems and some quite interesting ones, got a quick look inside the Pines (the former Dow home pictured) and came home with three books, which of course I got signed by the author.
