My library has a challenge going: “Pick five authors you have never read — perhaps even one or two you’ve never heard of — and read one book by each of those authors.” The one of the far left I had on reserve; while I was looking (unsuccessfully) for a second book by an author I enjoyed, I ran across the other two titles. All of them are new to me.
