Visited the library today, yay! Walking around to search or browse requires stops, but is doable. I had the two manga on reserve and was specifically looking for the Bourdain and Deep titles, but the art section required poking around.

A friend asked me to tell her all about the Bourdain book, so here: It depends on what you want. If you want an immersion in his voice, it is disappointing. It is a travel guide, alphabetical by country, of places he visited and in some way appreciated. His words are in blue and are pulled from his TV shows, then basic info like how long it takes to get from each airport to each downtown and at what cost is filled in. I’m picking up tidbits about food and places that I didn’t know, but I just read a country or two at a time while I’m in between other tasks; I don’t pull up a blanket and indulge in this book.
