One of the hazards of sharing a computer with the family is the differing tastes in wallpaper.

For the most part, my kids leave the backgrounds alone. Today, though, my son apparently had had enough of the Labor Day beach photo, thought he found something more attractive, or both.

Hence I returned from registering my daughter for Girl Scouts, sat down to check for opinions on news stories, and was greeted by the many faces of Slipknot.

Sorry, no room for compromise. If he even had put up Lordi, I’d have left them, because they’re Finnish, but I’m just not a fan of the farmboys.

Substituted Dungeons & Dragons (didn’t have any baby harp seals). We’ll see how it’s received.
