Yesterday was the first day of spring. Somehow, when it takes effect at 8:07 p.m., the impact is lessened a little.
This morning a woman on the radio announced it was the first full day of spring (yay!) but in the same breath she noted it was 25 degrees out (bleah). On a semi up note, though, the snow all has melted so I can see my leaf piles, and it is raining. All I need now is for my basement to flood and it really will seem like spring.
Do I seem blue? Maybe it’s because I have today off and, once again, I am getting sick. This is a variant, because I used to fall ill on weekends and be well by Monday morning. I don’t like this new version.
I do love this sign I saw on the Big Boy on Euclid Avenue in Bay City, though. One side just announces the Friday fish fry, but here’s the other: SAM TOLD ME TO GET OUT THERE & CHANGE THE SIGN SO I DID<P>
