I found out this week that not everyone knows about this option, so I’m sharing a photo of the drop box in downtown Bay City. If you have a worn or damaged American flag and can’t or don’t want to burn it yourself, check with your local American Legion, VFW or other veterans organization; a number of posts provide this service.
