Just finished in summer reading. Premise: zombies are driven to feed on living flesh, going only where their noses and feet take them, BUT they retain their memories and brain function. They feel everything that happens to their bodies but can’t control them in any way or communicate with anyone … a shuffling version of locked-in syndrome.
