Book Diary, 12182025 edition

I recently signed up for one of my library’s lit crates. The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library explains, “Discover your next great read this holiday season and sign up for a Lit Crate! There are options for Kids, Teens, and Adults! You tell us what you like, and we’ll assemble a box of goodies and books chosen just for you by our Librarians. Return the books and the box, and keep the treats for yourself!”

I got an email letting me know my crate was ready and picked it up yesterday. They tucked in hot chocolate mix, candy, stickers and sticky notes with three novels by authors with whom I am completely unfamiliar.

My #TBR list now includes “Sleep Tight” by J.H. Markert, “Model Home” by Rivers Solomon and “Camp Zero” by Michelle Min Sterling. From the descriptions, they all are right up my alley.

I’m looking forward to burrowing in. And of course I’ll let these thoughtful people know what I thought when I’m done.
