It seems I’m inclined to use this space as a sort of painting diary. So here are recent things I’ve worked on.

This one is just freehand. I chose spatter over a traditional background:

This was following along with a video focused on enjoying the lines. I don’t mind having tried it, but filling in the various blobs got to be more tedious than fun, and I don’t like the result enough to repeat it:

This was from a how-to on roses and tulips. My roses looked more like chrysanthemums and I abandoned them. Of the tulips, I most liked the second sheet, which focused on glazing; I’ll be doing more of that:

This was a follow-along on a bouquet, although it’s not really a bouquet so much as flowers all over the page. I like this well enough and there are things I want to improve, so I’ll likely repost this later with a redo:
