Here’s one more tree. I added a bit of background and like that better than naked white. The lower left quadrant of grass is too blue but other than that I was largely happy with the grass wash and decided not to mess with it any further. The root shapes, ugh, need to study those. But after doing a green tree and a yellow/orange/red one, I wanted to try blue/purple and I have to say I like it a lot, realism be damned.
